After earning an MA in International Studies and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, I joined World 50 to work closely with CFOs, CISOs, Chief Innovation Officers, and heads of sustainability at Global 500. I learned which issues were most important to them and created content that addressed those issues.
I began my career working with NGOs in South America, leading operations for three wildlife rescue centers in Bolivia before moving to Washington, D.C., to work in global poverty alleviation.
Why I Work Here
I find it fascinating to understand the challenges executives at Global 500 companies face, work collaboratively with our Group Leaders to develop agendas for them, and observe the progress members make as part of KATALYST, both during our sessions and between them.
Given so much talk about the need to be global, it's quite a shift to work at KATALYST, where from day one we made good on a promise to be geographically agnostic. Our meetings convene leaders from around the world, from Madagascar to Geneva to Atlanta and Singapore. Where we excel is in bringing together leaders to create insights not found elsewhere.
Traveling with my good friend to different parts of the world via unorthodox means (I learned how to drive a tuk tuk on a road trip around Sri Lanka) is what I look most forward to in any given year. I've lived in 7 countries and plan to continue hopping from one country to another. The benefit is KATALYST is I'm almost sure to find a member to meet in-person for coffee wherever I land next.
