Transaction Strategy Working Group
Success in mid-market and SMB mergers and acquisitions (M&A) depends on several critical factors: from aligning incentives and growth opportunities to setting highly defined, achievable growth goals, targeted to specific outcomes. With valuations rising and competition growing for deals of all sizes, leaders in this sector must understand a series of complex economic, financial, regulatory and technical dynamics in order to maximize transaction value for themselves and their clients.
The focus of the Transaction Strategy group is to create a private working space for senior leaders in the mid-market M&A and SMB sectors to understand the latest developments impacting deal dynamics and valuation via direct contact with the thought leaders and practitioners driving the most important trends and innovations.
At this time, Transaction Strategy Group is focused generally on these five major themes:
Understanding the mid-market M&A landscape post-COVID-19 across key sectors
Assessing the impact of new privacy laws on deal value and compliance measures
Litigation trends and evolutions across the M&A landscape
National security concerns and trade tensions on cross-border transactions
Competition and creativity in Private Equity dealmaking and financing
